BIOGRAPHY
Black Artist Union is a Toronto-based collective that assists in the movement and exhibition of artists and creators of the African diaspora. They came together in 2016 to create spaces where Black identity and culture could be centered and celebrated, and to inspire Black communities to work together to heal the wounds of fragmentation through supporting each other's unique artistic expressions. The collective has curated and produced multiple exhibitions at the White House Studio, Ignite Gallery, the Art Gallery of Guelph, among others, and is currently leading programming at the Whippersnapper Gallery for their 2018-2019 season.
