Banat: The Intersections of Misogyny in Racialized Communities
Banat: A Workshop on the Intersections of Misogyny in Racialized Communities is happening Thursday, August 1st from 7:00-9:00pm at the Margin of Eras Gallery! This will be a space exclusively for self-identified women & non-binary folks to learn from each other’s experiences and empower themselves.

Presented by Way Past Kennedy Road & Platform A, Be My Habibi is a community conversation on place-making and surveillance facilitated by curators Jessica Kirk and Mitra Fakhrashrafi of Way Past Kennedy Road. Be My Habibi takes place during HABIBIZ , a group exhibit by Way Past Kennedy Road taking up Toronto’s Shisha Ban to consider what it means to illegalize already hyper-surveilled spaces and extending a conversation on radical traditions of place-making across the GTA.

"ARE YOU OK?" — Zine Launch by Story Reno Studio
ARE YOU OK? is the first ever zine project by wordsmiths in the Story Reno Studio project — the zine launches November 8th at the Margin of Eras Gallery (1684 Queen St W) from 7-10pm. “ARE YOU OK?” explores themes of isolation, mental health, addiction, queer identity, self-destruction and self discovery… and the overall feeling of not being ok. Come through for incredible readings, chill vibes, and our open mic.

The MOEG Presents: Habitat — A Deeper Look
On February 22nd and March 8th, the Margin Of Eras Gallery opens its doors to four musicians, each of whom has built a fully immersive original installation. Their goal is to provide you with a deeper look into their complete habitat of inspiration and vulnerability.
Hosted at the MOEG: 3D Printing & Modelling Workshop with Andre Baynes
Come by the MOEG on Saturday, February 3rd for an introduction to 3D printing and 3D modelling, facilitated by designer Andre Baynes and presented by Xpace Cultural Centre! In this workshop, participants will learn how to turn concepts into computer models for 3D printing.
Reflections: The Launch of the Margin of Eras Gallery
We launched on November 24th, 2017 with the first in our two-part series of launch shows, and it was truly a night to remember. That evening, CUE's bi-annual Margin of Eras show (featuring the work of CUE grantees) found a home at the Margin of Eras Gallery.
